Features
WordPress 3.1.1 is a bug fix and maintenance release, no new features have been added
Fixes
- More security for media uploads
- Cross site scripting flaw for database screens was fixed
- Several files revised to fix existing bugs

How to upgrade
Before any upgrade, you should make a backup of your existing WordPress installation and databases. Please review the official WordPress documentation for more information - http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups
Even though eApps provides a one-click upgrade for WordPress, it is strongly advised that you read and understand Updating WordPress, which are the official update instructions.
To upgrade the application, go to the Control Panel > System tab (if necessary, click on Select Another System (Subscription) and choose the correct subscription) > Applications > WordPress. Click on the name of the application, and then on Upgrade To Latest.
