The eApps Private Cloud (PvC) is designed to provide a fast, reliable, and secure computing environment for the easy deployment and administration of Cloud workloads. PvC is provisioned in a few minutes using our Create-A-Cloud® order process. The service can handle almost any workload you have and is offered to you with no business hassles. There are no long term contracts, no tiers to climb, and no hoops to jump through. You may adjust any of your resources without penalty. As you grow, we grow.
Our included Standard support provides an excellent level of service. There is also an option for a comprehensive Managed services package. Below is a summary of our state of the art PvC service.
KEY FEATURES
Advanced Networking and Isolation - Define one or more private VXLAN networks in your PvC. What's more, your VXLANs will span across eApps data centers, offering secure geographical redundancy and disaster recovery capabilities.
Easy to Use Administrative Interface - Control the full life cycle of your virtual machines, data storage and networking resources with an easy to use interface.
VPN for Secure Administration - Your PvC comes with a built-in VPN, to ensure secure access of your Cloud resources.
Granular Users/Groups Permissions Management - Access to your services can be managed down to the individual VM.
Maximum Flexibility for VM Creation - Bring your own disk image or use one of the predefined OS templates provided in your PvC. You can also save Virtual Machines as templates, and customize templates to include security features, LDAP integration, user restriction policies, and more. The sky is the limit.
Access to API for VM Management Automation - The API can be used in conjunction with a tool such as Ansible to deploy and configure a new virtual machine, or cluster, in minutes.
Customization of your VM Configuration - PvC supports the ability to control any low-level KVM virtualization settings and flags in your Virtual Machine.
Upgrade/Downgrade Resources - From your Customer Portal, you can upgrade or downgrade resources individually, without financial penalty. The billing system will automatically calculate and account for your adjustment.
Fast Hypervisors, Network, and Storage - Your services in PvC are deployed on fast Hypervisors with up to date Intel CPUs. Our high-speed network is designed for maximum isolation and throughput. Our SSD based distributed storage system is extremely fast and scales very well for high loads.
SUPPORT PLANS
Standard Support (Included) - A very good level of support is included at no additional charge with PvC. This includes 24/7 support by phone, email and chat for the environment, interfaces, and tools provided with PvC. Basic analysis and troubleshooting are also included. Patches for major vulnerabilities in software provided in PvC will be performed by eApps.
Managed Support (Option) - This option provides our highest level of support. In addition to the Standard support envelope, the Managed option includes Priority Support, First Responder alerts, and Managed Backups (requires the purchase of Enterprise Backup service). eApps technicians will also perform basic administration functions such as creating new servers, creating templates and clones from servers, uploading custom images, configuring VXLANS, and setting up monitors and First Responders. Work for the creation of custom scripts, custom images, clusters, and advanced configurations will be performed on a fee basis.
