FAQ - Will eApps ensure the security of my data?

Maintaining security requires teamwork between the hosting provider and the customer. We use a number of measures to protect our network and the services we offer from attack and abuse. But ultimately, the security of your data is your responsibility. This is because you are in control of the passwords and access security mechanisms of the database and application servers.
Passwords should be changed on a regular basis, and you need to ensure that only the users who need access to a particular service have access to it. You are also responsible for making sure that you are keeping up with any security update for any software that you have installed yourself.
eApps does have network security measures, including a firewall and other capabilities that are not publically disclosed. However, eApps is not responsible for controlling and managing the access of your data, nor is eApps responsible for software that you install.
