Monitoring of the health and availability of your services
First Responder is an option for the free included Resource Monitoring service. With this option, your monitor alerts will be sent to eApps Support for immediate resolution, according to instructions that you specify. This option ensures that highly skilled technicians, who are standing by 24 hours a day, will take action within minutes if your monitor issues an alert.
The First Responder option can be enabled for any Resource Monitor that is configured in your eApps Customer Portal. Resource Monitors are available at no charge for all Virtual Cloud Servers and Virtual Machines. The First Responder option also increases the frequency of the monitor checks, from the default of every five minutes to every two minutes.
From the Configuration Options below, specify the number of First Responder options you want. You will need one First Responder option for each Resource monitor that you want eApps Support to manage for you.
RESOURCE MONITORING OVERVIEW
Our free Resource Monitoring allows you to set up monitors to check the usage of RAM, CPU, DISK, and network Ports in your Virtual Cloud Server or Virtual machine. The monitors check resource usage every five minutes, and provide historical usage charts. Alerts can be configured to notify individuals, or groups, that you define, whenever a remote monitor check detects resource usage that has exceeded user defined thresholds for any resource.
